A native New Yorker, Lavonne Hall has worked in photography and film for more than 20 years. She recently became the new coordinator of the NY Photo Salon, earned a Master of Professional Studies degree in Digital Photography from New York City’s School of Visual Arts and developed two iPad apps for the same department. Prior to graduate school, she was the staff and events photographer for the International Center of Photography where she currently teaches classes in digital photography and conducts portfolio reviews.
Lavonne also provides digital and new media consulting services to a number of clients, including Pentax Imaging, Great Performers and Pfzier. This work often draws on her photographic artistry and the world travels that have allowed her to create a large, intriguing portfolio of colorful, highly graphic images.
As imaging technology becomes more accessible and more challenging in its complexity, Lavonne will continue to provide essential services, and effective photography for her growing client base as well as develop some new and rewarding projects for her viewers.
